The accident of UPS 1354 is an unfortunate one, a mechanically sound airplane with an experienced crew flown into the ground short of the runway.
The NTSB did a good job or revealing the chain that led to the accident. But at the end of the day, even with all of those other factors, the accident could have been prevented by simply going around at the decision height.
